I went for a hike today, around Lost Lake. I was hoping to spot a black bear. By spot, I mean, see one from a distance, not blocking the trail fifty feet in front of me. He was a big cuss. I quietly turned around and he obligingly scampered up and out of the way.

ReplyDeleteNo ursa minor in my mind. Isn't that a Glen Campbell song?
ReplyDeleteHy, a first time reader, dtermined not to make a habit of it. Re the image of sailboats on a lake,It's my understanding that Canadian law specifies that you can only chuck it all once a year. Please refer to the Royal Canadian Code of Low Tolerance Leisure.

Actually, Anonymous, if that's your real name, they're not real big enforcers of said statute. So, we're planning on chucking it early and often.
